SYMBIOPHONIES – Four dynamic interactions between Music, Mankind and Nature. Part One:
Montagna con Forza

„Montagna con Forza“ , first part of an upcoming “quatrology” of movies, is a unique presentation that combines classical music, fiction, drama and nature.
Around a beautiful lake in the midst of the untouched and dramatic landscape of Northern Norway, we follow a wooden boat’s venture across the lake. In the course of its journey, we will absorb the vast array of temperate sensations and beautiful harmonies from this unique landscape. The brutality and mercilessness of life are central elements as the story unfolds into what can be seen as nature's own death mass.
The shots are harmonious to the original compositions of Fred Jonny Berg (b.1973).
“Fred Jonny Berg's music reaches into your heart and soul, and it presents you with many surprises. The music is fascinating - that is what is essential to me. It creates reactions and is appealing. I know that an increasing number will become aware of this special and talented composer. I hope that more orchestras will perform his music.”, says conductor Ari Rasilainen about Berg’s work.
The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, conducted by Ari Rasilainen, performs two piano concertos and two symphonic poems. Piano soloists are Joachim Knoph and Wolfgang Plagge.
The DVD comes  in a Digipack together with an Audio CD containing the original music by Fred Jonny Berg. As special features the DVD presents the documentary “ A Symbiophony Making” as well as the multiangle option “Fireplace”, a cosy setting by the fire accompanied either by authentic fire crackling or  by music.
