Volume 3 of the „Springtime in Vienna“ series  offers a triumphant concert experience as well: it presents exceptionally renowned soloists. Hungarian Soprano Sylvia Geszty who was as successful in opera  as in operetta, appears here as soloist and duet partner of the young Adolf Dallapozza who was one of the most popular tenors in light entertainment during the Seventies.

Both artists perform famous and popular repertoire – among other things the duet „Roses from Tyrol“ from Zeller’s „The Birdseller“ or the duet „Gesetzt den Fall“ from Millöcker’s „The Beggar Student“.

An orchestral contrast to the operetta parts of the programme is set by the perfomance of three Slavonic Dances by Antonin Dvorak.
Regardless of  „serious“ or light music, these dances  perfectly harmonize with pieces like the tremendous „Intermezzo“ from Johann Strauß‘ operetta „1001 Nacht“.
The encore of the concert recording is included as well: it is the polka „Thunder and Lightning“ by Johann Strauß.
